Network Unstable?

We sort of live in the middle of a small island, if you will. With that being said, the internet connection is not great. Often times it's not reliable for our wifi needs... Momma needs her Hulu ok! Disclaimer: it is not the internet company's fault. Trust me we know, we're on our second internet company. It's just where we are located.
Location is key...
At any time of the day, we will get a notification telling us "Your network is unstable" It's the most frustrating thing, but we have found one thing that helps. Rebooting the modem.
"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." -John 15:5 NLT
Sometimes our faith walk is like that too. Life happens, we get caught up and distracted. Before we know it, we feel unstable. Nothing seems to be going right. Every day it's just one thing after another. I find that whenever I start feeling that way, I have put my time with the Lord as the least priority, rather than the greatest priority.
It’s in those times when I know I need to reboot my spiritual modem. I need tap back into my time with the Lord and get into His Word. I need to refocus my mind and get a spiritual alignment that only the Lord can provide.
In Luke chapter 10 Martha was so caught up with preparing a meal for Jesus that she lost focus. Her sister Mary was tapped in and at the feet of Jesus; where she was supposed to to be. Martha’s distraction caused her to be frustrated claiming that it wasn’t fair that she was doing all the work while her sister was just sitting. But you see Mary wasn’t just “sitting” she was sitting with Jesus. Jesus went on to tell Martha that she was worried about the wrong things. Mary was right where she was supposed to be. Tapped into the Lord.
May we all have the focus of Mary today. Sitting at the feet of Jesus, ready to receive all that He has for us.
Take time to be with the Lord and see what a difference it will make.
Be blessed!
